Bolivia is a very small South American producer of coffee, and production is shrinking every year. The country’s entire crop is less than one of its neighbour Brazil’s larger coffee farms, or less than 0.1% of world coffee. Our coffee was grown in the Pumiri region of the Andes Mountains, known for treacherous mountain passes. These trade routes and the landlocked nature of Bolivia contribute to the challenge of exporting this coffee, which creates exclusivity.
This coffee grows at 1300-1550 meters above sea level and is certified Fair Trade Organic. We roasted Bolivia at 435 degrees, making it a medium roast. It tastes and smells like caramel wafers and dark chocolate truffles. A clean, classic and exclusive coffee indeed!
Bolivia
I like good powerful and somewhat earthy flavor. Usually I get Sumatra as other varietals tend to lack punch, but this Bolivian packs punch (less than Sumatra) and good flavor.
I stumbled upon a lovely cup of Fire Roasted coffee Bolivia at the Western Fair Market on Mother's Day and it was a game changer! I immediately was on thr hunt to find the same great taste the following day! I cannot wait to order and start enjoying from home!
A very nice, medium roast brew.
A very acceptable brew; robust and tasty
