Yirgacheffe refers to coffee gathered from farms around a single village in Ethiopia. This highly sought after bean captures the essence of African coffee with sweet flavours like tropical fruit and a bright finish. This is due in part to wet processing where the coffee cherry is washed off to remove the skin and pulp of the fruit encasing the coffee bean, resulting in a higher acidity and cleaner taste.
