We are excited to offer a line of limited-run micro-lot coffees.  Our head roaster has expertly selected and roasted each of these to accentuate their unique flavour and character. We are featuring the works of a local artist on every bag, a portion of the proceeds of every sale goes to the featured artisan. This month's featured artist is Ashley King.

AshleyKing is an artist and graphic designer based in Toronto, Canada. Ashley has never been one to colour within the lines–so to speak–leading her to develop a style of her own through experimentation and exploration. Her art is inspired by her enthusiasm for three fundamental aspects of life –  to love, to think, and to play. Love is vibrant, impactful and colourful; at first sight it makes an impression, and sparks a feeling. Thinking is what drives connection and builds the lines that lead to new discoveries and understandings. Play is spontaneous and wild; it’s the character that provokes wonder and makes something memorable and unique. Ashley uses these incredible expressions of consciousness to influence her non-representational paintings and create stimulating works of art that stray from standard visual forms of design

Last year, Ashley had the opportunity to participate in two new gallery opening exhibitions as well as over a dozen online and in-person art shows. She was also selected as a Distinguished Artist in Art Ascent Art & Literature Journal's December 2021 publication. She is currently an active member of Toronto's Artists' Network.
