
Costa Rica Yellow Honey Process
During the Honey process, the coffee mucilage is left on the bean and not washed away. This specialty process creates a unique identity and taste into the coffee and once dried the sugars from the mucilage impart a distinctly sweet flavour for the coffee.
I've tried a dozen or so medium roast coffees from Fire Roasted and other coffee brands. The Costa Rica Honey is certainly my favorite. I also like that it comes in smaller 100g packs for giving as gifts to friends and family. For myself the 350g is perfect amount for about a month and a bit of daily coffee drinking. Highly recommend this coffee, to pretty much anyone that will listen.
The only coffee I liked better was the black honey prices, which was a limited run. This coffee is amazing. Such a rich, full flavour. A perfect after dinner coffee but we have it in the morning, too. It's one we get regularly and will continue to purchase.
